Fully assembled record crate made of pine plywood with a water-based lacquer finish and stainless steel hardware. Designed to fit standard 12” vinyl records, the piece features Sachs’ signature circular cutouts and sculptural utility. Each crate includes a hand-engraved, sequentially numbered edition plate. Edition of 100.

Originally exhibited in Tom Sachs: Furniture , presented by Anthony Gallery and Rebuild Foundation. This particular crate comes from the personal collection of Easy Otabor—founder of Anthony Gallery—and proceeds from this sale will benefit the Rebuild Foundation, the Chicago-based non-profit founded by artist Theaster Gates that champions cultural development through art, education, and community-driven programming on the South Side of Chicago.
